As one of the premier interdisciplinary conferences in the fields of women’s, gender, sexuality, feminist, queer, and trans history, the Big Berks attracts scholars, educators, archivists, public historians, graduate students, librarians, activists, and independent researchers from across the United States and around the world. The 2027 conference theme, Beyond Boundaries: Gender, History, and the Futures We Imagine, will bring together a dynamic international community for four days of scholarly exchange, networking, and collaboration. We anticipate attendance in the 1,000–1,400 range.

We are pleased to confirm that the Book Exhibit and Exhibitor Hall will be located in a large, centrally situated ballroom space within the Hilton Minneapolis. The exhibit hall is directly across from conference registration and adjacent to the primary keynote and plenary session spaces, ensuring sustained visibility and high attendee traffic throughout the conference. Coffee breaks and major conference gathering periods will also flow through the exhibit area, creating ongoing opportunities for engagement and conversation between exhibitors and attendees.
