NEH Sustaining the Humanities through the American Rescue Plan (SHARP) conference support grant imageThe Berkshire Conference was awarded a one-year grant from the AHA–NEH Grants to Sustain and Advance the Work of Historical Organizations, funded through the NEH SHARP (“Sustaining the Humanities through the American Rescue Plan”) Grant Program.
It has six co-participant institutions: Norfolk State University; Santa Clara University; Texas State University; UC Irvine; Western Kentucky University; and William & Mary. Students funded through this program, whom we have called “Berks Fellows,” are presenting at this conference.
The grant proposal was written by Audra Jennings, Western Kentucky University, and Leisa Meyer, College of William and Mary.
