Dear Ms. Zlakhani,

I just found about Berkshire History of Women Conference.

The reason for my email is that I would love to do a signing of my book Kusikiy A child from Taquile Peru. It is a children's book, but it is read in many levels. I set the story of Kusikiy in a real community in the Andes of Peru. Taquile, continues living, what I call the Ancient Weavers Way, of life. I imagine the conference participants will enjoy taking home my book, and I will enjoy signing it and given a small presentation, and talk about the women's way of keeping record of the community events in their woven waistbands.
Please let me know if you would be interested. I could just have a table with my books for sale and tapestries and spindles, and photographs.
Thank you very much,
Book: Kusikiy A Child from Taquile, Peru

To whom it may concern,

Thank you for your interest in the Berks! The conference welcomes teachers, scholars and students from all countries from all countries. Unfortunately the submission deadline for the 2011 conference has already passed, however you are welcome to attend the conference and to submit a proposal for the next Big Berks, which will occur in three years.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions!
